WE ARE BAKD BEANZ
Sofia grew up in Lisbon, where her love for design was clear from the very beginning. After studying Communication Design at art school, she moved to London to pursue Graphic and Media Design at UAL. Expressive, colourful, and endlessly imaginative, Sofia brings her bold visual storytelling to Bakd Beanz.
Freddie discovered her passion for illustration a little later. Having explored different subjects at school and in the early years of university, it wasn’t until she was 20 that she committed to her creative path. She joined UAL to study Illustration and Visual Media, ready for a fresh trajectory.
We met whilst living in the same accommodation, bonding first over music before naturally finding ourselves creating art together. That creative compatibility eventually led to the idea of Bakd Beanz - a playful brand that blends both of our individual, crazy, little worlds.
Though the idea sat on the shelf for a while as life, jobs, and studies took over, in 2025 we came back together with the time and energy to make it real. Now, we’re beyond excited to finally bring our dream into the world and share it with you!
PACKAGING
Our packaging has lived a life before it met you!
Each of our tins is made using recycled cans collected from pubs, bars, and restaurants; giving everyday materials a second round instead of sending them to waste. It’s a small way we try to keep things circular, thoughtful, and a little more responsible.
